Fall brings about all my favorite things: cooler weather, pumpkin lattes, memorable family holidays, colorful trees, piles of leaves to crunch on walks and so much more. I’m also falling back into TwinZone Tuesdays. Eight months ago, I started TwinZone Tuesdays: Take One for Two. This Tuesday dedication was an attempt to catch up with my years of writing in my journals about my
adventures of having twins. From having The Moment to trying to stay one step ahead with my many tips and tricks, every Tuesday I try and write a post about being in the TwinZone.
So I’ve been struggling with writing and posting over the summer. I pretty much have had a three month hiatus because I’m the mom that spends summers just being lazy with her boys. If we were not hanging out in the pool for four to six hours daily, eating watermelon poolside, or enjoying breakfast on the patio watching the sunrise, then we were probably inside in our pajamas reading books, playing board games, putting on puppet shows or eating so much ice cream you would think we were sick of it by now.
Well summer has come to an end and my oldest son has started back to school and I feel the itch to blog again. Therefore, starting this month, TwinZone Tuesdays are back up and running. From amazing posts to guest bloggers all with huge amounts of new tips and tricks, I’ve got lots of great posts coming soon. I even have some really fun posts coming from adult identical twins themselves. As a parent of twins, wouldn’t you love to get into the mind of identical twins for a different perspective of being twins? I think their posts will be educational with ideas and little things to consider, as a parent, in raising twins.
As I’ve said before, I love sharing experiences and thoughts on this blog not only to fortify my own sanity, but to help support other twin moms and document my journey for my children. For me, writing can be a way of releasing some tension, expressing fears, satiating anger, reiterating happiness, fostering hope and to also seek answers and support from other moms.
I started the TwinZone TwinFest journey in hopes that my posts would help other twin moms that might be scared or feel isolated, to know that they are not alone.
I would like my posts to help others turn those feelings into joyous thoughts so that they can more fully enjoy their twins but still feel vindicated while not letting those feelings of guilt ruin the precious time with their twins. Also, I hope some of my twin posts can help other moms of multiples prepare in order to better overall manage twins and still be mobile.Additionally, tips and tricks from experienced moms have helped literally save my sanity and I, in kind, would enjoy sharing my best of the best with others.
Falling back into TwinZone Tuesdays!! If you are a mom of multiples, and would like to share your story, tips and or tricks and or have some questions needing to be answered please contact us. We would love to hear from you and share with others through our blog, WiseMommies.
