What to look for in WiseMommies

WiseMommies is here to hopefully change your world in some way. We hope to share the wisdom learned through our diverse parenting styles and life experiences and also suggest ways to make your life easier, more interesting or fulfilling. How are we going to do this? By blogging about a variety of topics, products, venues and services. And we want your help!

Topics

Like we mentioned before…we have been working on this blog revamp for the last few months, adding a new WiseMommies blogger and being moms at the same time. However, that does not mean we haven’t been creative. We have future blogs related to breastfeeding, twins, grocery shopping (and saving), travel, family planning, cloth diapering, moving a family across the world and more. We want our topics blogs to be motivating, real, relevant and helpful to our readers. We hope that by being passionate about what we write about, we can uplift our readers and provide real life experiences and wisdom to address the life of parenting. What topics are relevant in your home right now that you would like to read about? Anything that has peaked your interest and you would like to know more about? We would love for you to comment below and let us know and we will add it to our lists.

Products

Let’s face it….there are a TON of baby/toddler/family products out there. It can get so overwhelming! Thankfully, WiesMommies is supported by 3 different families with different parenting styles and lifestyles so we use a variety of products and love to talk about our favorite ones. Be prepared for reviews and suggestions about products to help with daily life to travel to holidays. If you are struggling with a product decision, we would love to hear from you and we can give you some ideas of our favorites. Or if you want to know what products we have found as our top 10 in a certain area, again, would love for you to ask. There is a comment section below that we would love to hear from you!

Venues

Is this a family friendly restaurant? Does this park have dangerous drop-offs for my toddler to fall off? Would this be a good school or program for my preschooler? There are just a few of the questions we hope to answer when we visit venues and give our thoughts on them. We would love any suggestions on venues you would like us to evaluate or if there is something you wished you knew about a place, let us know and we will find out for you.

Services

From head lice delousing to mommy yoga to birthday party entertainment, we hope to provide a continuous stream of feedback on services that are helpful to parents and people across the world. These might be services used or observed and we will try to offer alternative services if necessary. Are there any services you are curious about? Let us know and we can see about reviewing. So that is it! That is what we hope you will find here at WiseMommies! We want this to be a supportive community, one that offers feedback but also receives it! So if you have any suggestions for us…please share! We would love to hear what our readers have to say.

3 Wisdom from Others to What to look for in WiseMommies

  1. Cassie says:

I would love to read motivational stories, ppd, miscarriage, and baby/kid mystery tantrums and getting to the bottom of them. Also, I know typos are inevitable, but most can be caught with one or two people proofreading.

    • Nicole says:

Thanks for the suggestions Cassie! And I think we caught the typo too. Hope you will sign up to be on email list to keep up with our future posts.

  2. Diana says:

Don’t have children yet but am always hearing about how relationships between husbands and wives can be pushed to the side a bit once the little ones join the family. Would be great to read tips on how to maintain a close relationship with your husband amongst raising children? And maybe in addition, every day little things that the family can try and make sure they do all together?
